Release Studio help.

Quick answers for projects, video creation, metadata, licensing and connecting your YouTube account.

Getting started

Create a new release, add your finished audio tracks, add the artwork for each track, then work through Video, Metadata and Upload. The project progress area shows what is complete across the album.

Release Studio Projects

Use .arsproj project files to save the state of an album. A project can remember track order, source files, artwork, generated video locations, metadata and publishing progress.

Keep project media together where practical. Release Studio can use relative file paths so a complete album folder is easier to move between locations.

Video creation

Release Studio creates upload-ready music videos from your finished track and its assigned artwork. The status for each track shows whether a video is ready, processing or still pending.

Connecting YouTube

YouTube publishing uses your own account authorisation. See the dedicated connection guide for the steps and permission explanation.

Licence

The free trial allows one album-generation trial on one computer. Direct YouTube uploading requires a paid licence. A paid licence lasts 12 months and activates on one computer.

Frequently asked questions

Does Release Studio upload my original audio file?

Release Studio prepares the video output used for YouTube and publishes the prepared result.

Can I close the app halfway through an album?

Yes. Save the release as an .arsproj project and reopen it later.

What happens if a trial video generation fails?

A failed or cancelled attempt should not consume the one free album-generation trial.
